Blab #8 - OctaBlab... - Saturday, 12th September, 1998

Dont have the slightest clue what I want to write in this blab. To start off with, the blabs were meant to be just meaningless ranting, and I did succeed rather well if I should say so myself. But accidentally, the Blabs became much much more coherent than expected. And now, after some of the more intended and important subjects of ny mind already HAVE been Blabbed out, I find myself drained of... Blabbing...

Not true as you can see, If I dont know what to blab about, well, that's something I can blab about. :)

Anyway, been offline basically for 2 whole days. Wow. Amazing. We netizens usually can't stay away from our beloved computer for too long at a time. Without going bonkers ofcourse. But well, lately, the ladder and TA havent had the strong appeal like it used to. One reason is the activity and Size of the ladder lately, well, LACK of those 2 things. Been a lot of shuffling going on, which it does on Cases ladder, nothing new in that, but the shuffling on this one is rather extreme, and that comes from the lack of size and activity. SO GET GOING!!! Get out on that ladder and start playing some games for Gnugs sakes. On a sidenote however: As my rantings about how spread out the TA community was, and all those different gaming networks and their ladders to cases. Well, as if we weren't spread out enough, and then Cases goes and makes us 2 New ladders. One for The Zone (www.zone.com), and one for MPlayer (www.mplayer.com). Typical... very un-Gnuglike.

Anyways, as the movie gnug that I am, I went to see Gnugzilla today. It turned out as I expected from the makers of Gnugdependence Day. BIG action, hollow story. Ergo, a pleasure to experience in the cinema. Ah, going back to the subject of world domination again...:

I think everyone in the world should like the movie "Se7en". It is an extremely intelligently made movie, with a great, tho' rather sinister and evil story. Tho' some (those who have seen it) would maybe think that it's the kind of movie one could really only see once, because then the story element of surprise would have been used up. Not so with Se7en. Not for me atleast, but what's the point when you all must do what I say and like everything that I like? Resistance is futile, you will be gnugged.

Ah, a future prediction here. I bet Gene Roddenberry (Creator of Star Trek for all you ignorant non-gnugs :) will be concidered as a great philosopher and pioneer sometime in the future. And once again, if anyone has any objections, let me refer to the fact that you all HAVE to like what I like and blah blah, U get my drift.

And now for something completely different...

Just as I was blabbing about the slow but inevitable death of TA, Magar of Annihilated.com started blabbing about that it WASN'T dying at all, merely... maturing. The TA community that is. He was mostly referring to the flood of 3rd party unit/map makers and so on, as they are flourishing around the place. Well, it doesn't really mean anything to me, as I really don't like 3rd party units, for various reasons.

Blah, i'm falling apart here, way too sleepy to continue typing Blab. Off for this time, gnugnight :o)
