I have been rather absent these last days, both mentally and physically, so I didn't really get to do all the Blabbing that I wanted to. Besides, the lack of inspiration managed to keep me away from getting anything done when I DID have the opportunity. What can I say ? I'm only Gnug. :)

Hmm, the TA related news within the community is basically being covered quite nicely by Magar & Co. over at Annihilated.com. But for those who aren't totally into it, the big news of TA these days is that First off, TA had it's birthday recently. That's right; the game has been out for an ENTIRE year. And it's continouos popularity just goes to show what a quality game it really is.

Hmm, as for other TA related news... Don't know much other than to start talking about how it's going on the TA KALI ladder on Cases. (www.igl.net/total) CyberDrgn (he had the honors of being added to the list of fake gnugs/gnug imposters list just recently when he turned up on our #gnug channel on irc.annihilated.com). Just informed me that I have now been bumped all the way down to 7th or 8th position. The newest additions in the top 10 in there are "Samiam" and "Preen". Godspeed to them in future. However, the ladder seems to be suffering a bit from a form of cowardice. Some of the ppl who are on the way up do a great job of nagging you when they're ranked below you. And eventually, they will sneak a victory from one. And jump ahead of you. BUT lo and behold, after that, u hardly see them again. They seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth, and show up shortly at the most obscure hours only to leave again quickly, warding off any challenge with some excuse. This kind of inactivity and hiding bothers me a bit, and is what is mostly discouraging me from playing all that much in there. Abovementioned CyberDrgn does have that particular problem a lot. Players hunt him down till they finally get above him, only to disappear. The inactivity is messing up the ranks a lot. Where crawling activity would most likely rectify and smooth out the positions daily, and in the long run. Oh well... I juts assume that the ladder is too small really. I did get one win, and one loss as I was in there shortly today. The loss was to good ol Peeweekiller who somehow always manages to get disconnected in our games. Tho the situation looked better for him, so I did the right and reported. A player of his standards would most likely NOT have thrown away his advantage, which he got when he won the little Freedom Fighter (FF) war we had. Hmm, more ladder-news to come later on.

And btw, as I saw 315, that evil gnug, added a little comment in one of my Blabs. Showing his stance on Star Trek. Well, we should all just forgive him for not liking such a great show. (I prefer TNG) He's only a Gnug, with not very sophisticated taste. I mean, the Gnug doesn't even like "Se7en", nor does he like Metallica much. Sheesh, well, what can one say. We're all individuals, the Gnugs. Tho one thing we have in commin, is the Foozberries... Mmmm, those Fooooooozberries... we ALL Love those. Anyways, everyone should like Se7en, Metallica and Star Trek:TNG. Cause I SAY SO. And when I have total power of all the world, you will all HAVE to like it too, or you will all be moshed into synthetic Foozberry juice. MUAAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA...
