Blab #15 - Ah more ladder Blab here... - Saturday, 3rd October, 1998

Gonna try to make ladder news a re-occurring event. If you don't like it, well TOO BAD. I guess u're Foozberry synthesiz goo when I take over the world. :)

ON THE subject of The world. EVERYONE should go try bungee jumping. Para jumping will do aswell. Even those who fear heights (like CyberDrgn, the re-occurring name in here, hehe). Bungee'ing comes highly recommended to anyone... It's quite the rush, and you wont regret it. Unless, ofcourse, you seriously injure, or kill, yourself if for instance the bungee is cut off mid-air, or maybe it was set too long, and you wind up crushing your skull into the concrete below or something. But you shouldn't fret, nothing to fear... or well, hardly anything.

Now for this Blab's round of ladder news:
Breaking news: -Neo-AnalyzerX7, commonly referred to as just "Ana" has withdrawed fro the ladder. This came as a shock to us all, especially concidering his rather favorable rank, being #2, just behind h0tr0d. This astonishing turn of events has now placed Telamus back in his old #2 position. (on a side note here, Telamus wouldn't let me win that match we played on GoW last time, arg.) We tried to contact -Neo-AnalyzerX7 on ICQ, but he seemd to be in a dreadful mood, and was giving up on TA. An incredibly sad loss indeed. Hmm, was away a few days, now I'm back, lots of updates in the ladder. h0trod at #1 is idling slowly as he's been having problems with his computer. IN his absence, Kokani has managed to win a case vs. h0tr0d in some game where Kokani, according to himself, managed to get a lucky atlas through to h0tr0d's cmdr. and lift it. h0tt0d denies this to have occurred on his screen, and the 2 stubborn wankers wouldn't budge in their stance. :) But while h0tr0d was offline for some 4-5 days, Cases reported the game for him, moving Kokani (who changed his name to something along the lines of: h0tr0disanon-reporter or something like that) up to a 6th spot (bumping me to 7 again, arg). It went a bit back and forth up there in the top 10 for a while, the newcomer Samiam has been having trouble with getting games with Telamus for the #2 spot. And Samiam found a bit too convenient that Telamus lost a match to CyberDgrn, having Samiam bumped to the 4th spot. (Telamus usually wins vs. CyberDrgn.) And it didn't make it better that Samiam had asked Telamus for a game Before CyberDrgn asked Telamus for the game. All very dramatic, and now Samiam is said to have reported Telamus to Cases about this situation. Shall be interesting to see whether or not h0tr0d can make it back and play a game so he doesn't idle down from the #1 spot. Hardly a worthy way of gaining the #1 place. Anyways, after a few losses vs. the top players, and Pweekiller closing in behind me, I finally garnered a win from Samiam, moving me up to the 5th spot. Had a bad couple games, some where I choked and messed up badly, and some where I even SHOULD have won, but got struck with some bad luck. Now I should be up to speed with the current developement on the ladder right now. Sorry you had to read all this. :)

ON other serious matters. If you're following the Gnug message board on a regular basis, I think you know what it's about. Yes, it's the accusations of cheating. It is all boiling down a matter of opinion whether this certain "Bug" is infact a Bug or not. I don't feel it is a bug, but the accuser does. That's is quite allright, we're all free people, and have a right to voice our opinions. However, the way he proceeds to state us Gnug's as Certain cheaters cause we frequently use this trick. He seems to lable us as cheaters, based on his viewpoints, without us having the chance to voice our own points of view. I have to say, I was pretty upset when reading it. Gnug025 and 315 and myself have posted replies. And I'm sure the thread will go on for a while yet. So stay tuned !

Until the next blab, to the gnug-mobile!
