Ah, back in blab.
Ok, useless fact of the day: Kermit the Frog is left handed.
Laddernews (tm):
Interesting stuff has been happening on the ladder these last days. Samiam was at #2, and I was at #3. Gnug315 worked his way to #4, bumping Telamus (He should call himself "Boilamus". It just has such a... Boily ring to it :) to #5, and Bzrk to #6. Then h0tboiler started accusing Samian, Gnug315 and meself for "Padding" (Artificially gaining rank by fake reports. For further info about padding, see: TEN). Needless to say, the accusations are not true, but I failed to convince him of that.
Then things started happening. h0tboiler first lost to Telamus, and then to Bzrk, bumping me and Gnug315. Needless to say, it's rather unusual that he loses in the first place. But well, no accuastions here, all in the name of neutrality. Ok, well, I don't see how I can stay very neutral when I'm being accused of dishonest conduct. And then, all of a sudden, BoilerDrgn launched a hefty campaign from his 11th position. First, he beat Telamus, then went on to kill Samiam, and THEN he won vs. h0tboiler. So POOF, all of a sudden, BoilerDrgn is at #2 again. Quite impressive actually :). And right as I'm writing this, BoilerDrgn is playing h0tboiler for the #1 spot. I will fill you all in on the progress inn that match. Ok, they're back, and BoilerDrgn lost on 100 isles. A D-gunned sub was a big factor I hear.
Went to the movies today to see "Saving Private Ryan". I was expecting a good movie, but it still managed to blow me away. A stronger, more visually powerful movie one has too look long and hard for. Infact, I would say this is THE single most excellent movie in the Visual field. I for one was both positively surprized, somewhat shocked (hardly ever happens in a movie for me), and also moved to some extent. The true terror of war truly showed it's face, and the harsh realities were less romantic than some people seem to think. A hearty Gnug215 recommendation to go see that movie.
Arh, completed the GSAT. A gaming knowlegde test of some sort, go check it out. I scored a 1110 out of 1600, and here's what I got:
1100-1290:
This score means you correctly answered the majority of questions on the GameSpot Aptitude Test, and indicates your thorough knowledge of computer gaming. That you missed a small quantity of questions suggests that you are particularly familiar with particular genres.
You earn: Certificate of Excellence
Seems my score was pretty good. Some of the others in the #gnug channel took the test too, and here's what one of them said:
[4:50] [fifteenhexed] you can tell them the gsat is a long waste of time
[4:50] [fifteenhexed] quote me on that
[4:51] [fifteenhexed] include my score if u wish
His score was 500 :)
Well, try and see how you will do. It's a tuff test in my opinion, and you have to be a hard-core industry person to know ALL the answers. The test includes some 160 questions, so reserve some time for it.
Ah, well, until the next time, RAAAAAAAAA at the world, and the world will RAAAAAAAA back.
Gnug215 :o)
