215's Continuum...

15th December 1999.
Alas, even longer break this time. Just assuring you that I am still here. :)
Haven't started on a Blab yet... I can see now, how long it will take between each one, unless that is, I get a flood of renewed inspiration, and feel it is right to Blab about. I am going to look a bit more at the Links section... I have a few more to add. Other than that, there isn't really happening much in the TA community these days... Besides people retiring, and the CBL. But I am getting a few games now and again, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. :)

Arh, yet again, I neglected updating this in a long time. Alas... I have no excuse. But reason(s)? Basically, I'm trying to pass time as quickly as possible as I can these days, which has thrown me into one of my most significant lacks of inspiration and fits of lazyness. And I think I'm even experiencing a bit of "Writers Block". So why do I want these days to pass so quickly along? My Gnugette is coming home on the 29th of November. Yes, that's in 16 days, and I am truly beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. :)
So will the updates and Blabs increase when she finally gets back? Initially, I would say: "NO", as I am most likely going to want to spend a lot of time with her. But as the daily rythm goes back to normal at some point, then maybe. But who knows? We shall see...
Oh yes, I put up a few new links... Just so you know. :)

Arh, I finally got started on Blab #45. It's pretty... NOT done so far, but atleast I got going. I also expanded my "Newbie Help", or rather, the 215's Newbie and General Sensible Online Conduct Guide as I'm calling it now. I named the link to it on the Boilers corner page just 215's Online Guide [Editor's note - 12/05/2005: And I renamed it to "215 on Netiquette", muahaha]. I actually expanded it a fairly large bit, and am still planning to do so in the near future. But that's what I said the last time, and look how long time it took? *Groan*. Ah well, something will come, eventually. :)

Arh, I can see that this is not gonna be a daily event. :)
But... fear not (bwaaahahaha, as if), I shall try my best, just always run into some sort of object as I should really be updating the page, making a Blab, or the likes. But... I DID get my Links up and running... So that's always something, right? Well, at the moment, I'm fixing them, and will be alot of the time, as most of them need some explanation and proper title. AND... I need to make them all open in a new window, and was going to add the HTML command to EACH and every link posted. Buuuuuut, Liam, the resident HTML God, saved the day for me, and informed me that one can just add a simple command line somewhere, to make all links open in a new browser. Wheeeee, here's to Liam! *boink*

Ok, a bit longer break than I had wanted to myself. I have been a bit busy, and when I haven't, I've been boiling my time away. Among other, I've played a bit too much Tetrinet. BUT, I have been working on sorting all my links. And mind you, there were a LOT. But now I'm done, and will start adding the links I found useful and appropriate to my links section, nicely categorized and sorted.

Had 2 days of TA playing since last I updated here, and then 2 days off. I kinda found out why I took a break from TA back then when I did. All of a sudden, the whining, the lamerness, the idiocy and so on, becomes too much. I'm still baffled to find rude idiots out there, trying to... Well, I don't know what they're trying to achieve, but fun is not one of them. These immature wankers spend their time harassing people, swearing and spamming the place with obsceneties and hostilities. Comeon! Pull yourselves together! There's no gaining in being hostile and provocative. Take some responsibility for your actions! And if someone else is treating you disrespectfully, it's their loss, don't go stooping to their level, and start an insult contest. In case someone missed class, we're online. Insults and threats mean little or nothing here, so don't take it so damn personally. And you should be able to criticize yourself enough to see if the fault is with yourself. Gah... Enough for now... I will have to write a Blab about it...

By the way, I just wanted to mention, in case anyone is wondering. I'm not losing sleep over those 2 things bothering me, which I mentioned in yesterdays update. :)

Just wanted to mentioned 2 things out there in the TA community that have been bothering me for the past days. First, it's the matter of the fake Gnug, namely "Gnug815", running around on the zone, using trainers on innocent people. This, as you can see from our real official Gnug list, is NOT, and I repeat, NOT an official Gnug. This is a lowlife wannabe, out to ruin the Gnug name, and slandering the reputation we've worked har to attain.
On that subject, there's been some circulation of a bit of chat log from #gnug one night, where Gnug725 asks, in total jest ofcourse, Aslan as to where a trainer could be attained. It doesn't take much brain to see that this was in jest, as it was infront of many people, and it was asked to Aslan, of all people. Now besides having a slight grugde against neoKokani, for spreading this out of context bit around to everyone he knows, I also have quite the grudge against the person copying the chat log, and sending it around. Either that person wanted to hurt the Gnug reputation, or that person was a humorless ignoramous. *sigh* Can't we just all get along?

*Phew* Didn't do much work on the site yesterday, as I was basically just TA'ing it all day long, after work that is. I had some really nice games with a number of nice people, and some less nice ones. Me and Gnug115 Gnugged a few Non-Gnugs on the zone, which was nice. On the a not so nice note, I ran into an individual going by the name of Gnug815. Now be sure, that Gnug815 is NOT a Gnug, and is believed to use a trainer on innocent people, slandering the Gnug name. :(
Anyways, in here, I put up my first file for my files section. It's a file I found, containing most of the TA Plus Codes (like +shootall)there are. It was a rather dated file, so I found myself adding quite a few, and I'm sure there are many more, which you will all mail to me. :)

Good start here. I boilt so much I actually deleted an entry. *groan* So anyways, at the moment, I'm working mostly on my Links section. I found my old wordpad file, containing all sorts of links, but most of it is junk, but many of them are actually... Well, useful. :)
New sections will eventually come along, as I make them up, and hopefully, among all the quantity, there wil hopefully be some quality. :)

Okay, new section here. This is where everyone's nightmare comes true. This is where I plan to say something EVERYday... Just to please myself, and my urge to see myself say something. :)
