Well, some of you might have heard me going on about Se7en, and what a great movie it was, and still is.
More than 10 years after its release, Se7en is still my favourite movie, bar none. Sure, there are plenty of other great movies, (Fight Club, Adaptation, Shrek...) but none of them have quite the power and completeness of Se7en.
The text is a commentary for Se7en that I wrote to post on IMDB, but I figured I'd let it double as a Blab, too.
There be activity! And quite a bit of it, too. Not only has Gnug615 done a great job of redesigning the site, but he has also added new content, and egged the rest of us (that is to say, just me) on. So, as you can see, yet again we have a new Blab!
As I say in the newest Blab (#54), it is something good to start the new year with. The reason it is listed as the second Blab in 2006 is because I wrote #53 sometime in December 2005, if not before, and I didn't originally plan for that to be a Blab.
But there it is, and there is a new Blab, too, like I said. I hope you like the new one. In it I discuss something that I feel is extremely important to give some thought. Let me know what you think about it. Feedback is always appreciated. :)
As some of the residents in #Gnug might recall, I passed out some questionnaires for everyone in the channel to fill out about chat back in March and April 2005. The questionnaire was to be the core data for a group paper about online chatting and communities. A summary of the results from that paper is provided as the latest Blab. I hope you find it as interesting as we did!
Well, wouldn't you know it. Apparently, this Blab had been written a while back, but never posted. Either that, or it got lost in the site shuffle, but whatever, here it is again. If something sounds slightly out of place or date, it's because it was written on the 15th June 2004. A lot has happened since, but it still has some relevance.
Gnug215 hasn't updated this section in quite some time, but hopefully that'll change soon. It is, however, very interesting to note the dates on when he started his Continuum and Blabs. I'm not sure when blogging really took off, but these may be some of the earliest ones I'm familiar with, albeit with different names. Then too, Gnug215 never has really been one to just go with the crowd :)
