Gnug615 - The Old Gnug

Measured in Earth years, I've spent more time on Earth than any of the other Gnugs. This span of time enabled me to participate and observe several significant decades in Earth's history. In the 1960's, I spent a number of formative years in the social rebellion that took place, where as a Hippy Gnug my furriness and attitude helped me fit in quite nicely. And in the 1970's, I spent a number of years in the U.S. Marine Corps studying the types of weapons and defenses that Earth had. After the period of studying violence, I withdrew and became more of a scholarly Gnug, learning much about electronics and advanced software techniques so that I could help lead Earthling engineers to develop better and smarter systems. Most of my adult life has actually been spent in engineering (both in electronic and computer science research and advanced systems development), with the present focus being the research and development necessary to achieve a truly intelligent system. (After all, what better way to take over the Earth than by their machines? Muahahahahahahahahaha) Somewhere along the way there, I also had the opportunity to meet a truly wonderful gnuggette who continually amazes me by putting up with me for so long. |

| Location: | When not summering in Antarctica, I spend time in Wisconsin, USA. This seems appropriate since Wisconsin only has two seasons, August and winter, which allows this excessively furry Gnug to remain in cooler climates and not overheat. Something no Gnug ever wants to happen! | |||

| Goals & Ideals: | One goal is to be the first to create a true machine intelligence. Other goals are to continue to develop those personal values that are Gnuggish. My primary ideal is to always treat everyone with respect. Everything else follows from that basic ideal. | |||
